Steve Wilder, Chief Operating Officer of CITCA, LLC of Bourbonnais, IL has announced that Jocko Vermillion will be joining the safety training organization effective April 18, 2016.
Well-known in the tower safety industry, Vermillion will assume the role of Vice-President of Safety Management Services. In that role he will work with both CITCA clients and with clients of CITCA’s sister company, Sorensen, Wilder & Associates.
Vermillion previously was the Vice-President of Safety Controls Technology, Inc. in Ohio. Prior to that, he served for 10 years as a compliance and safety officer with the United States Department of Labor – Occupational Safety and Health Administration, where he was OSHA’s national subject matter expert on issues of tower safety, crane safety, construction safety and more.
In addition, he has testified multiple times as an expert witness in OSHA hearings, and has investigated over 100 tower fatality cases.
“I’m excited to welcome Jocko Vermillion to CITCA. We’ve been friends a long time; we’ve provided joint training sessions at locations across the country, and we share the same passion for safety management. His addition is a perfect fit with our corporate mission,” Wilder said.
In addition to his safety management work, Vermillion will work on continuing development of CITCA’s growing demand for safety management consultation services and CITCA’s expanding portfolio of training programs.
