Structure, Tower and Antenna Council readies its first conference

Over 200 industry personnel are expected to be in attendance at the International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, Canada at the Structure, Tower and Antenna Council’s (STAC) inaugural conference on April 11-12.

As the only national forum in Canada dedicated to discussing safety issues and best practices in the tower and antenna industry, the STAC 2016 Conference and Exhibition will bring together wireless carriers, broadcasters, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, land owners, safety equipment suppliers and safety trainers, among others.

STAC 2016 attendees will be able to hear from industry leading experts on the deployment of new practices and new technologies; learn more about STAC and the safety and best practices resources available to their members; meet with colleagues or clients in a private meeting space reserved for attendees; and demonstrate their commitment to ensuring the continued safety of tower industry personnel.

Topics to be discussed at the event are: Climbing in hostile environments; Drones on the job; Nationwide best practices; Engineering tower and rooftop mounts; and Contractor pre-qualifications.
