Costly retesting can be avoided

    Most failed compression test failures do not lead back to the batch plant, but are a result of how the cylinders were sampled, tamped, cured, transported, handled and capped. The contractor needs to provide a stable secure area for the testing to be performed, including initial curing of the samples.
