Does Rev G require that owners must put a safety climb on their tower if they don't have one already on it? Do all new towers have to have a safety climb on it?

It doesn't require putting one on an older tower -- although it would be a good idea. All new towers that are built under rev g must have a safety climb. I'd be willing to bet that if there was a colocation on an older tower that didn't have a safety climb and it was reinforced or work was done on it using rev g, it would require putting a safety climb on it. Unfortunately, sometimes it's not done, the building department could care less and its only a concern when the lawyers get a hold of it when there is a serious accident or a death.
