One of the most common causes for equipment failures is water migration into the power supply cabinet. Poorly tightened pull and side marker junction boxes will allow water to enter the conduit run during heavy storms. Junction boxes should always be installed below the marker fixtures so water can escape through the weep hole. Troubleshooting visits have found installations where the drain holes were facing up.
