    Round tube, solid rod and angular are the most popular types of steel used to fabricate towers, each material having advantages and disadvantages. Wind loading, durability, maintenance requirements, reactions to the environment and erection costs are a few. Variations in strength of a particular type are proudly coveted, but in the final analysis, all towers must be designed to meet the specified structural requirements.

    Be sure and check solid galv. tower sections for straightness before signing for them, they being very stubborn to move and look bad in your portfolio.
