Real Estate Restrictions

    Zoning is a major factor in siting communication towers and facilities as any site acquisition specialist knows, but there are other real estate matters that are just as important.
    One that is sometimes overlooked are setback restrictions.
    There have been cases where the leased site was assumed to be adequate as described in the lease only to find that required setbacks or landscaping requirements made the site unusable. It can cost a lot of time and money to go back and renegotiate for more land, or sometimes finding a new site entirely.
