Openings on many fiberglass buildings are fiberglassed to the interior to prevent water leaks. However, buildings that have wood frame floors encased by fiberglass can be damaged if a leak in the membrane allows water to pond in the floor and wick up to the floor studs if there is no capacity for drainage.
