    When selecting coax size, one other factor to consider is whether or not the coax has to be installed in conduit and/or in an environment where it will have to be bent very tightly. In these cases a smaller diameter cable than desired may have to be used. Larger antennas or higher power transceivers may have to be selected to compensate for the additional cable loss.
