You will need a license to provide a proposal for or to bid on any job over $999 in Arizona.
Contractors must possess a bond among other requirements. With the exception of workman's compensation insurance, Arizona does not require an company to possess insurance to be licensed.

General Commercial Contractors can take on jobs of any size. General Small Contractors allows you to work on almost any job providing the porject does not exceed $750,000.

Unlicensed contractors cannot file a mechanics lien. Applications are AVAILABLE HERE
