NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association today unveiled a video shining a spotlight on the important research and testing initiatives of the Safety Equipment Manufacturers Committee (SEMC). The video is the third to debut in Volume 6 of the Association’s popular #ClimberConnection series.
The #ClimberConnection video highlights the SEMC’s role in conducting real-world testing and providing detailed information applicable to the performance of safety equipment and related components used within the communications infrastructure industry. The SEMC is relentlessly focused on enhancing worker safety and personal protection through these research initiatives that include all industry stakeholders.
“The SEMC is enhancing worker safety through these research and development initiatives,” said Chairman Jeremy Buckles, Senior Manager – Safety International at SBA Communications Corporation. “The SEMC’s mission is to test the equipment based on how it functions in real-world, field-based environments and our dedicated group of industry subject matter experts have been able to do that successfully over the last 10 years,” added Buckles.
