Tower Family Foundation appoints Pete Hagstrom and Steve Ouzts to its endowment committee

The Tower Family Foundation announced today that Pete Hagstrom, Vice President of Procurement at Viking Maintenance, Inc., and Steve Ouzts, founder and principal broker at Tower Advisors, LLC, have been appointed to serve on the Foundation’s Endowment Committee. The Tower Family Foundation made the announcement at the 2024 Kentucky Wireless Association Golf Tournament hosted today in Louisville, Kentucky.

“The Tower Family Foundation is excited to add Pete Hagstrom and Steve Ouzts to these leadership positions on the Endowment Committee,” said Foundation Board of Directors President Jim Tracy. “Both Pete and Steve have cultivated many meaningful relationships during their years in the industry and are a very visible presence at many industry charity events and conferences, which will make them excellent ambassadors for the Tower Family Foundation,” added Tracy.

“Our company has personally witnessed the impact the Tower Family Foundation has made when it comes to supporting employees and their families in the aftermath of accidents and emergency situations that occur,” said Hagstrom. I am excited to roll up my sleeves and give back to this amazing charity through this seat on the Endowment Committee.”

The Tower Family Foundation is a 501c-3 non-profit organization whose mission is providing financial assistance to communications infrastructure workers and their family members in the aftermath of job-related accidents or fatalities, and funding education scholarship opportunities for eligible industry communications infrastructure workers, their family members, and dependents.

Since its inception in 2014, the Tower Family Foundation has awarded over $1.7 million in donations and scholarships to eligible tower workers and their families. Pete Hagstrom Biography

Pete Hagstrom currently serves as the Vice President of Procurement at Viking Maintenance, Inc. In addition to his business development duties, Pete also plays a major role in project management and Human Resources. Pete’s biggest professional passion lies in personnel development where he is focused on hiring, creating new opportunities, building relationships, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for the Viking Maintenance team.

Outside of his work life, Pete enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, serving on the City Council and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Pete has served as the Iowa Liaison and is now the Ambassador for the Great Plains Region for the NATE Wireless Industry Network (WIN). Pete is committed to upholding the standards of the WIN program, emphasizing the importance of safety in the rapidly evolving technology landscape. Additionally, he is involved in supporting NATE’s values of quality, integrity, and reliability to ensure safety in the wireless industry.

Pete also contributes to the NATE community as a member of the NATE – Tower Family Foundation Golf Committee and Nebraska Wireless Association.

Steve Ouzts Biography

Steve Ouzts is the founder and principal broker at Tower Advisors, LLC. Drawing on vast experience across multiple industries, Steve counsels owners on all the business issues surrounding the sale, streamlining the process, and maximizing results. Before starting Tower Advisors, LLC, he worked as a controller, auditor, accountant, and business broker.
