Amphenol Corporation today announced the successful acquisition of CommScope’s Outdoor Wireless Networks (OWN) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) businesses. Now operating under the ANDREW name, these businesses further strengthen Amphenol’s leadership in communications infrastructure solutions.

Amphenol anticipates the OWN and DAS businesses will generate approximately $1.3 billion in sales in 2025.
In 2007, CommScope agreed to pay $2.6 billion to buy larger rival Andrew Corp., reviving its offer less than one year after an unsolicited bid was spurned. The company’s $1.7 billion offer to Andrew was dismissed as “wholly inadequate.”
CommScope received approximately $2.1 billion in cash in the deal that just closed.
