VIKOR, a national leader in wireless and broadband infrastructure services, is proud to announce that Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr will launch his nationwide “Build America” infrastructure campaign live at VIKOR’s Headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Wednesday, July 2, at 11:30 a.m. CT.
This event marks the kickoff of the FCC’s renewed focus on accelerating deployment of critical communications infrastructure across the country, ranging from 5G and fiber broadband to the tower and utility construction that supports it.
“Chairman Carr has been a champion for the people who build and service the infrastructure that unites people across the nation. We’re proud to host his speech to announce the FCC’s build agenda under his administration,” said VIKOR Chairman and Founder Craig Snyder.
The “Build America” campaign will showcase the skilled trades and technical teams driving the next generation of infrastructure nationwide. By launching the campaign at VIKOR—a company at the forefront of telecom construction and fiber installation—Chairman Carr aims to underscore the crucial role of public-private partnerships in achieving the nation’s connectivity and economic growth objectives.
“America’s tower crews and telecom techs are the best of the best. They are the real power behind our nation’s world-leading communications networks,” said Chairman Carr. “It is important that the government pursue policies that will unleash them to build America. I look forward to being back in Sioux Falls to lay out the FCC’s build agenda.”
The event will feature remarks by Chairman Carr and senior VIKOR leadership, as well as a tour of VIKOR’s headquarters and training facilities. Local officials, media representatives, and members of the infrastructure workforce are invited to attend.
