Nominations are open to individuals and teams who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and made a significant impact through their work. This could include:
- Heroic Acts: Those who have gone above and beyond in dangerous or challenging situations to protect a co-worker, their crew, community, or the public.
- Community Service: Individuals or teams who have led or participated in projects that have positively impacted their communities.
- Exceptional Teamwork: Teams or individuals who have exhibited extraordinary collaboration, problem-solving, and support, leading to successful outcomes and setting a standard for others.
- Innovators: Those who have brought innovative solutions to the table, improving efficiency, safety, or overall performance within their roles.
How to Nominate?
Submitting a nomination is simple. Fill out the nomination form with details about your nominee’s contributions and share their story with our selection committee of association executives, contractor company owners, and employees ranging from EH&S directors, administrative personnel and tower technicians. We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible to help our selection committee understand the full impact of their actions.
Recognition & Rewards
In addition to a creatively designed award, selected Sky High Heroes will be honored with nationwide recognition through various channels, as well as being featured in an article on Wireless Estimator, and social media exposure, association acknowledgements and other participating industry media, including the recipients’ local news outlets.
In addition, they’ll be presented with gifts from industry businesses that truly value their courage and drive to advance the spirit of giving above the call of duty. As American memoirist and poet laureate Maya Angelou implored, “You shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back,” a fitting achievement fulfilled by telecom infrastructure’s Sky High Heroes.
