Tonight’s 2023 Wireless History Foundation’s (WHF) Hall of Fame Awards Dinner in Washington, DC, is sold out. Still, thanks to The Grampion podcast, available here on YouTube, viewers can get a sneak preview of the event and the history of the WHF from Wireless History Foundation Executive Director Jenifer Snyder.

Inductees this year are Meredith Attwell Baker, President and CEO of CTIA; Alex Gellman, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Vertical Bridge; Rob Mechaley, a former executive of McCaw Cellular and Co-Founder of Clearwire; and Ed Whitacre, a former CEO of Southwestern Bell and General Motors.

Well-known speaker and podcaster Jim Tracy, who was inducted into the WHF in 2021, provides an enlightening chat with Snyder as they explore the current environment and some interesting stories about the early days in the wireless space.

The awards dinner brings together today’s top influencers and trailblazers to pay tribute to the innovative contributions that propel the industry forward. It’s a one-of-a-kind occasion to connect and socialize with leaders from all corners of the wireless world.
