B+T Group, a leading full-service engineering, construction and technical services firm specializing in the wireless industry, has announced that Steve Largent will serve as Chairman of the Board following an investment from Gladstone Investment Corporation and its affiliate Gladstone Capital Corporation .

The announcement comes as B+T Group expands offices in the Atlanta area, Phoenix, and Tulsa, and also adds additional warehouse capacity in Canton, GA. According to Gladstone’s Managing Director, Kyle Largent, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with this talented team at B+T. They’ve built an outstanding business and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow.”
Steve Largent, a former TU and NFL football standout, went on to a successful political career before most recently serving as President of CTIA, The Wireless Association, for ten years. In that role, he advocated on behalf of the wireless industry and led the organization through the wireless industry’s unprecedented growth.
B+T Group was advised on the transaction by Bruce Jones and Matthew Bristow, managing directors of ClearRidge, an Oklahoma investment banking and business advisory firm. Securities were offered through M&A Securities Group.
B+T Group was cofounded in 2000 by its CEO, Chad Tuttle, and Dinesh Bhat. The company has grown from a two-man structural engineering firm into a full-service wireless engineering, construction and technical services firm, including tower modifications, structural analysis, A&E services, site acquisition, DAS/small cell services, and tower construction. The firm is licensed and certified to provide engineering services in all 50 states, supported by 170 employees operating within six regional offices across the United States.
