SBA chief takes a payday; Crown takes new Florida office space

SBA Communications CEO Jeffrey Stoops recently sold 94,289 shares of SBA stock at an average price of $133.76 for a total value of $12,612,096.

SBA's all-time high was reached on June 2. Crown Castle and American Tower also reached new highs on the same day.

However, the chief executive is still hanging on to 329,124 shares of the company’s stock, valued at approximately $44 million.

The company’s shares hit an all-time high on June 2, closing at $138.69. The all-time low was $138.32 less, closing at $0.37 on Oct. 1, 2002. The stock opened this morning at $131.33.

American Tower Corporation’s highest close was $132.49 on June 2, and also on June 2, Crown Castle hit their all-time high of $104.59.

Jason V. Silberstein, SBA EVP – Site Leasing, earlier this month sold 48,930 shares at an average price of $136.32.

Crown Castle signs lease for new Florida digs
Fifteen Group has signed leases with two leading wireless companies at Sawgrass Technology Park, a 63-acre, 645,000 SF office park located in Sunrise, Fla.

One lease is with Crown Castle USA, Inc. who will occupy 14,256 square feet. Crown Castle is the nation’s largest provider of shared wireless infrastructure.

The location is approximately 30 miles from their Boca Raton office facilities.

The company recently signed a 56,000 SF lease in Alpharetta, Ga.

A second lease was signed with Fifteen Group with Cable & Wireless Communications, Inc. The tenant will occupy the entirety of the park’s only 24,667 square foot stand-alone building which overlooks two of the park’s lakes.
