At a meeting of the Arkansas-Oklahoma Wireless Association (AOWA), a presentation check was presented to the Tower Family Foundation for $15,000.

The association provided the funds last November but recently presented the honorary over-sized check to the foundation.

The funds were generated from the AOWA’s 2019 Annual Charity Golf & Poker event.  They also gave $20,000 to the Folds of Honor Foundation, a long-time association beneficiary.

The non-profit Tower Family foundation assists in providing financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on the job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis.

Its support of all tower workers has become well known and supported by tower owners, state wireless associations, businesses and individuals.

Earlier this month, the New England Wireless Association also presented a considerable donation to the foundation.
