The Communication Industry Training and Certification Academy (CITCA) and Dover Telecommunication Services (DTS) have formed an alliance that will allow both companies to market each other’s training at discounted rates.
CITCA offers a complete line of college-based tower erection and safety training programs and services directly related to the communications and wind turbine industries, with training provided at the client site or at any of CITCA’s seven regional training facilities located across the nation.
DTS offers classroom, online, and training seminars available throughout North America. DTS’s e-learning training is available 24/7 to increase productivity and utilize downtime. In addition, DTS provides a full line of site commissioning certifications, including, RF Energy Awareness, Distributed Antennas Systems (DAS) Passive Intermodulation (PIM), Antenna Line Sweep certifications, Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA) and microwave systems installation and maintenance.
“We are thrilled to be working side by side with DTS” said Steve Wilder, CITCA president. “When we began discussions, the synergy was immediately obvious, and when we realized that our training programs were not competitive with one another, combining our resources to broaden what we can both offer our clients was clearly a winner for everyone.”
Tom Dover, president of DTS, added “We are pleased to make this joint announcement with CITCA and look forward to working with an industry leader in safety and compliance training. The combination of safety and supporting technology provides an important service to the wireless industry. We look forward to working with CITCA and their client base by providing quality training and support services.”
Both DTS and CITCA incorporate classroom and significant hands-on portions in their training programs.
