Safety officials from carriers, tower owners, regulators and training companies converged in Pittsburg, Pa. last week at the 2016 Environmental, Health & Safety Communications Panel (EHSCP) symposium hosted this year by Crown Castle.

A wide variety of topics related directly to the communications industry were presenting during the well-attended sessions.

A panel discussion on the upcoming Washington State Standard, was presented by Jay Weir with panelists Scott Kisting, Richard Cullem and Jeremy Buckles.

The event, under the leadership of EHSCP Chairman Gary Schongar of Verizon, was an excellent networking and learning experience made possible through the efforts of Don Snyder of Crown Castle, Lynn Alpaugh from AT&T, Greg Myka from Verizon and Brian Wiedower from Sprint, amongst others.

A breakout session during the three day conference regarding tower training techniques was presented by JP Jones, President of Safety LMS.
