Three industry leaders appointed to Tower Family Foundation positions to assist continued growth

 The Tower Family Foundation announced today three appointments to the non-profit organization’s leadership structure, individuals who are committed to ensuring that the Foundation continues to expand its ability to serve wireless workers and their families when there is a work site injury or fatality.

A recent Climber Connection video highlights how an injured tower technician and his wife were overwhelmed by the Foundation’s assistance.

Tower.Family-FoundationVictor Drouin, President of Green Mountain Communications, Inc. in Pembroke, N.H., has been appointed to the Tower Family Foundation Board of Directors. Drouin previously served as a member of the Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee since the organization’s inception in 2014.

Wade Collins, Director of Business Development at Flash Technology in Franklin, Tenn., has been appointed to serve on the Tower Family Foundation Endowment Committee. In his role as a member of the Endowment Committee, Collins will assist in facilitating fundraising opportunities for the Tower Family Foundation and serve as an ambassador for the organization at state wireless association functions and other industry events held throughout the country.

Paul Foster, Co-owner and CEO of Vinculums Services in Irvine, Calif., has been appointed to serve on the Tower Family Foundation Advisory Committee. As a member of the Advisory Committee, Foster will be tasked with helping evaluate applications and rewarding financial assistance and scholarships in the aftermath of industry accidents and fatalities.

“We are thrilled to add Victor, Wade and Paul to these impactful positions on the Tower Family Foundation leadership team,” said Board President Jim Tracy from Burley, Wash.

“These gentlemen embody the values of servant leadership, integrity and transparency that are the bedrock principles of what the organization was founded on and will be tremendous advocates for the foundation out in the wireless marketplace.”

The Tower Family Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance and scholarships to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on-the-job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis.

Since its inception in 2014, the Tower Family Foundation has awarded over $556,000 in donations and scholarships to eligible tower workers and their families. In 2018, Vilhauer, Raml & Snyder LP, an independent certified public accounting firm, calculated that over 97 cents of every dollar donated to the Tower Family Foundation goes directly to eligible benefactors.

Victor Drouin Biography

Victor Drouin is the President of Green Mountain Communications, Inc., located in Pembroke, New Hampshire. He began his telecommunications career in 1981 and has owned and operated Green Mountain for 25 years. Green Mountain’s experienced team has been assessing the challenges faced by businesses and delivering communication solutions that integrate the most advanced technologies. They currently employ approximately 70 industry professionals and primarily service the Northeast Region. Victor also currently serves on the NATE Board of Directors and is actively involved with the National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA). 


Wade Collins Biography

Wade Collins is the Director for Business Development at Flash Technology, an international aviation obstruction lighting OEM located in Franklin, TN. For more than 20 years, Wade and his team have provided turnkey solutions to client companies in the telecom, broadcast, utilities, oil and gas, government and wind energy markets. Wade’s expertise includes FAA compliance, lighting solutions, asset management and field services.

Actively engaged with NATE since 1996, Wade served on the Membership Committee for five years and has facilitated multiple education outreach initiatives for NATE members. At the 2017 NATE Unite Conference, Wade was awarded the Chairman’s Coin for Dedication, Excellence and Service. 


Paul Foster Biography

Paul Foster currently serves as co-owner and CEO of Vinculums Services, a leading regional telecom infrastructure service provider specializing in transport, site development, and small cell solutions for all major telecom carriers in the west and south regions of the US. The Tower Industry Family Support Charitable Foundation has been established to help provide financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on the job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis. The intent of the donation is to provide a funding “bridge” to the affected families to help pay for immediate needs and help defray other related costs that families experience in a post-accident or fatality situation.
