Pennsylvania SWA kickoff set for March 23 in Plymouth Meeting with Stiles at helm
March 6, 2006 - The Pennsylvania Wireless Association will hold its organizational kickoff meeting on March 23, at the Doubletree Guest Suites hotel in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The keynote speaker will be Kelly Lewis, President of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Wireless Association was founded to promote positive wireless industry awareness for all sectors of the community. These include mobile service subscribers, wireless service providers, industry vendors and services suppliers, and local and state government officials and agencies. Association membership encompasses wireless carriers, antenna site providers, tower companies, equipment vendors, construction companies, site acquisition firms, and the legal community.
Membership in the association is free and open to any organization or individual with any level of professional involvement in the wireless industry and who is interested in its positive development and advancement.
Officers of the Pennsylvania Wireless Association are President Todd Stiles, of Strategic Communications Services; Vice President Charles Krudner of Cingular Wireless; Secretary Brooke Dolan of ClearShot Communications; Treasurer Tim Sweeney of PPL Telcom, and Counsel Richard Williams of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn.

The Pennsylvania Wireless Association is the first association in the Commonwealth that brings together under one roof all of the individuals and organizations that are doing their part every day to build, maintain, and enhance this critical facet of our state’s infrastructure upon which so many other drivers of the state’s economic growth depend.
The Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA), other industry trade groups, and various committed industry professionals are responsible for the State Wireless Association Program (SWAP) initiative, which kicked off first with the founding of the Tennessee Wireless Association in 2001.
