TRA Director Miller to be guest speaker at Tennessee's March 8 meeting
The Tennessee Wireless Association will hold its first quarterly meeting of 2007 on March 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Old Natchez Country Club, 115 Gardengate Drive, Franklin, TN.

Pat Miller, Tennessee Regulatory Authority Director, will be the association's guest speaker discussing the recent report and recommendations issued by the Tennessee Broadband Task Force. Miller was appointed to a six-year term as a Director of the Authority by Lt. Governor John S. Wilder, July 1, 2002; He served as Chairman of the TRA from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005.

Established in 1996, the TRA  was created to meet the challenge of the changing telecommunications and utility environment. The TRA is charged with the responsibility of setting the rates and service standards of privately owned telephone, natural gas, electric, and water utilities.

The cost of the luncheon is $20.00.  There will also be a social/networking event at Green Hills Grille, 1645 Westgate Circle, Brentwood, TN (661-4682) on Wednesday, March 7th at 5:30 p.m.
