Geotextile Fabric

Geotextile fabric can be easily hand rolled in place. The average mediumweight roll weighs 200 lbs. For longer length installations, contractors will place a pipe through the roll, attach it with chokers to a raised backhoe bucket to roll out the fabric. Some specifications call for staking the edges prior to placing aggregate upon it such as on inclines where riprap will be placed.

Laying the geotextile fabric averages $.21per square foot for less than 600 sq. ft. This amount is used for the installation default pricing in "My Estimator" . Add to your cost labor to pickup the fabric if it is not delivered to the jobsite.
