Severe storms in Tuscaloosa County, Ala. Thursday toppled the top sections of a 335-foot guyed tower owned by A1 Two-Way Radio that was erected in 1990.
The sections crashed through a mobile home in front of it, severely damaging the structure, according to WBRC.
None of the Tully family were at home when the collapse occurred, but Mrs. Tully was just down the driveway in a vehicle with other passengers off Romulus Rd. when they noticed the tower starting to sway in the storm.
A passenger was taking a video on their cell phone when the structure suddenly collapsed..
A1 had the rest of the tower dismantled and the company has also offered to help the family find a temporary place to stay.
